X-Ray Baggage & Parcel Inspection Systems
TCC supplies and installs single-view, dual-view, and multi-view X-ray inspection systems for baggage, carry-on items, parcels, and mail — with tunnel sizes from compact desktop units to large-format systems capable of screening oversized luggage and cargo pallets. Advanced features include automatic threat detection (ATD) image analysis, organic/inorganic/metallic colour differentiation, high-penetration X-ray generators for dense packages, and networked image review enabling remote second-opinion screening by a supervisor.
Walk-Through Metal Detection (WTMD) Portals
Multi-zone walk-through metal detection portals that precisely locate the vertical position of a metallic object on the body — enabling security officers to conduct targeted pat-downs rather than full-body searches, dramatically improving throughput and reducing screening time per person. TCC deploys WTMD portals calibrated to discriminate between harmless metallic objects (belt buckles, coins) and genuine security threats (firearms, knives, metallic IED components) using multi-frequency analysis and programmable sensitivity zones.
Explosive Trace Detection (ETD)
Bench-top and portable ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) based explosive trace detection instruments that analyse swab samples from baggage surfaces, hands, and clothing — identifying trace quantities of over 40 explosive compounds, including RDX, PETN, TNT, TATP, HMTD, and narcotics, in under 10 seconds per sample. Next-generation computed tomography (CT) baggage scanners produce fully three-dimensional, 360° imagery of bag contents — enabling unambiguous threat identification of IEDs, liquids, gels, and complex concealment methods that may defeat conventional 2D X-ray systems. CT systems feature automated explosive detection (AED) and automatic threat recognition, dramatically reducing the need to open bags for manual inspection and enabling 100% screening of liquids and electronics without removal from bags.
AI Automatic Threat Recognition (ATR) Software
